Hanna Tuukkanen
Finnish textile & fibre artist
Hanna is a London based Finnish textile/fibre artist and creator of the small craft studio, Bless This Mess London - Wool Crafts and Workshops. She has studied at the London Art Academy and graduated in 2015 with a Certificate in Sculpture.
Hanna mainly works in wool for its suppleness, delicacy, and strength. It is natural and versatile and it can be transformed, both in form and texture.
Nordic wild forests and their natural inhabitants have always fascinated Hanna. They are a place of contemplation, inspiration and serenity for her. Hanna’s felted creations often feature Nordic wildlife with animated, whimsical characteristics that exhibit warmth and humorous personalities.
