Amabel Barlow
Artist and illustrator
Amabel Barlow is a London illustrator, artist and author who has always enjoyed nature and the environment which inspires her creativity, influencing her love of writing illustrated children’s books, painting and her own style of botanical illustration.
Her first illustrated children’s book ‘Lucy Lights the Way’ was published in 2021.
Amabel receives commissions for paintings and has done many exhibitions.
Using her original artwork, Amabel prints cards and prints for sale. She uses oils, watercolours, ink pens to create her designs and ideas.
Amabel graduated from the University of East London with a BA Hons Illustration and received the Foundation Art Prize 2017 and Deans Prize for illustration in 2020.
