Made in Greenwich is run by GCDA (Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency) a not-for profit organisation that has been working in the borough for more than 40 years helping to build thriving local communities.

We opened in September 2019 after three months of hard graft by staff and volunteers with a budget of little more than £300. IKEA Greenwich generously donated the shop fit for free.

Our goal was to provide local artists, craftspeople and food entrepreneurs with an affordable platform from which to sell their work in a supportive environment. Many of those represented at Made in Greenwich have been on our business training courses, and are trying out their ideas in a retail environment for the first time.

We started with a handful of makers and now have more than 50 people on our books! We passionately believe in buying local  and in supporting home-grown talent as much as we can. To enquire about selling at Made in Greenwich please email maryjane@gcda.org.uk
